The building was completed in the 1920s and this presentation is for use at the Catalina Island Museum and other venues to increase awareness of the "treasures" of Catalina. This video is now airing on the "satellite" ARTS® channel worldwide.

Gift Of Life
The miracles of medicine have produced a problem that will take all of humanity to correct. Medical science now makes it possible to replace failing organs with healthy organs from donors. The problem is that demand exceeds supply of usable organs. Our video, "The Gift of Life", chronicles the life-saving liver transplant surgery and recovery of Jerry Jackson, journalist and businessman. Jerry's quest is to make all of America, and the world, aware of the problem of the organ shortage. Continuing Jerry's involvement, this video introduces us to Jerry's new friend, James Younger of Phoenix, Arizona who has a failing liver. Jimmy has waited more than a year and a half for a liver. His time is running out. This video tells his story and tries to make the viewer understand the desperate situation that has changed Jimmy's life. Through the distribution of this video, we can bring this message to the world so that someone, somewhere, may remember Jimmy at a time of tragedy in their life and may let their deceased child live on in Jimmy. Only that family can give Jimmy "The Gift of Life".

Update: Jimmy did not receive the "gift of life". He died on March 21, 1999. We, at MDH, hope that our efforts with our video will help another person in need of a life-saving transplant. We dedicate this video to the memory of a brave young man, Jimmy Younger.

Malibu Presbyterian Church wants to be the "Light on the Hill" to all who live in the community.

Operation Rainbow
MDH Productions is working with Operation Rainbow in a new project to chronicle the work of these gifted surgeons and medical volunteers. "Operation Rainbow organizes, funds, and oversees volunteer surgical teams that provide free facial and orthopaedic reconstructive surgery to children in medically under-served countries. Operation Rainbow organizes, funds and oversees an international service program in which volunteer health care teams provide free reconstructive surgery to indigent patients in medically under-served countries. By caring for these children, Operation Rainbow volunteers and donors are proud ambassadors of goodwill - not only to the patients themselves, but also to their families, their communities, and, in a broader sense, to their homelands."

MDH Productions completed location shooting in El Salvador in May, 1999, with the Operation Rainbow volunteers to and we have produced a video for use by the organization for education and awareness of medical organizations and the public to the critical need for help for these children. This project was shot with latest High Definition equipment and was edited in the 16 by 9 HDTV format and will be shown world-wide by the Operation Rainbow organization.

MDH gives special thanks to Operations Rainbow for use of their logo, photos, and history of this wonderful organization. These "angels of mercy" need everyones help and MDH Productions will assist them in getting their message out to the world with this video. Silent Night
Using the talents and assistance of the World Vision Youth Ambassadors, MDH Productions produced a special holiday message for churches around the world. While touring Europe, 12 of the Ambassadors recorded the classic Christmas carol, "Silent Night". The actual digital recording was made in a bomb shelter in Geneva, Switzerland. The pipe organ music was recorded in Berlin, Germany. The video was recorded in a Geneva church that has been used for centuries.

The music video was a gift from World Vision and MDH Productions to be used at the holiday season to bring the message of the season to TV viewers world wide. The video was distributed world wide by World Vision offices and also by MDH Productions in multiple formats and multiple versions. Each video was modified with a special message for the viewers in the specific viewing audience. This was a way to "personalize" each version for the location where it was being aired. Each video was introduced by the local clergyman and was recorded in the native tongue of the country.

MDH Productions, with the cooperation of World Vision, hopes to continue this holiday tradition. Music can bring the world closer together in peace.

World Vision
1997 World Vision Youth Ambassadors
For the second year, MDH Productions has assisted the World Vision Youth Ambassador program to promote their message of world peace and reconciliation. This youthful group was assembled from more than 50 nations around the world. World Vision offices selected one person from each country to represent their home country in a tour that would bring the World Vision message of help and understanding to the world.
The ambassadors met in Los Angeles and received classes in mediation and conflict resolution. These young people, 18-24 years old, will be the leaders of tomorrow. They performed in California, Nashville, Japan, Taiwan, and were seen on popular programs such as Nashville Tonight, The Grand Ole Opry, appearing with country music super star Skeeter Davis, and the Hour of Power with Rev. Dr. Robert H. Schuller, from the Crystal Cathedral in Southern California. In Taiwan, they sang for a group of men who get only one recreational performance each year: the World Vision Youth Ambassadors.

The World Vision Youth Ambassador program, founded by Dr. Jerry Chang, will be an ongoing endeavor of MDH productions as each group begins its tour each year.

1998 World Vision Youth Ambassadors

MDH Productions has produced another video for the 1998 Ambassadors who toured the world including the United States, Taiwan, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and South Africa for the world conference of World Vision International in Johannesburg. A video was produced for each of the Ambassadors to present to their sponsoring country to encourage them to continue to participate in the World Vision Youth Ambassador program. Due to the work of Dr. Chang , the World Vision Youth Ambassador staff, and with assistance of MDH Productions, the Youth Ambassador Program will continue into the new millennium presenting the humanitarian goals of World Vision around the world

CURRENT AND FUTURE PROJECTS

One Small Step
MDH Productions is in development stages of a video for use by doctors treating paraplegic and quadriplegic patients. This video would be produced with the help of a leading California university medical department. The video, showing the success stories of former patients, will give hope to patients that have many physical and emotional problems to overcome. Only guidance and encouragement from those who have similar conditions, can help give a new patient the encouragement to take "one small step" towards a better life with a solid future.

Phantom Of The Theater
In a developing project, MDH will tell the unique story of a magnificent theater in the Southern U.S. This fine old theater, built in the 1920s, has been rediscovered and refurbished to it's original beautiful magnificence. The pipe organ, installed in the theater has been restored to its original glorious sound. But, according to local sources, this historic restoration could have ended in tragedy if not for the help of the mysterious inhabitant of the theater. MDH will examine this historic journey from decay to grandeur and will search out the story of "The Phantom of the Theater".

Song Of Praise

MDH Productions is in development of specially produced DVD videos to give churches around the world the ability to provide words and music to hundreds of Christian "songs of praise" so that these congregations can easily lift their voices in song. Through the use of DVD authoring techniques, original digital recordings, and images of faith and beauty from around the world, MDH Productions will produce and distribute a full line of "Praise Music" DVD video disks for use in most Christian denominations and in a multitude of languages to bring the joy of this music to thousands of churches worldwide.
